Connect South Mends Street – Moving Numbat
The Numbat has a new home on the South Perth Foreshore as the gateway to the Perth Zoo. Watch the trip and how far the Numbat had to come, see the video below.
Connect South Mends Street
The Giant Numbat has arrived at it’s new home on the South Perth Perth Foreshore on Saturday Morning. This is another fantastic and iconic Perth Project that we are constructing and working with specialised sub-contractors to bring the design to life for PLACE Laboratory to create the new entertainment precinct for the City of South Perth. DENMAC have fabricated the Numbat to an exceptional standard and look forward to the arrival of the next companion as works continue on the Connect South Mends Street Project. At design stage the Numbat was selected in consultation with Perth Zoo. As the Numbat is the WA’s emblem, it is also a species under threat with an estimated population of fewer than 1000 individuals, we hope our South Perth Numbat will help raise awareness of this unique marsupial.
